Wynnum Waterfront Escape is a perfect "home-base" for your Queensland holiday. Wynnum is the city's closest point to the vibrant attractions of Moreton Bay and some of the most fascinating islands on the Eastern coastline, and is a short distance from enticing restaurants, interesting historical attractions, majestic parklands and many opportunities for family adventures. Below is a small sampling of some of the attractions that you will not want to miss!

Dining...

At Manly you can dine on a broad range of homespun delicacies - the finest fish at top seafood restaurants, traditional takeaway fish'n chips and charming alfresco cafe dining are only minutes away from us. Even closer to home, Wynnum Village offers a number of cafes and shops with a community-focused, personalised service.

Exploring...

Steeped in history, Manly Harbour Village is one of Brisbane's only remaining waterfront villages. Overlooking Manly Boat Harbour - the largest man-made marina on the east coast - Manly is, along with Wynnum, one of the commercial and leisure hubs of the Bayside area.

Manly is also your gateway to the the fascinating islands across Moreton Bay - including Moreton and North Stradbroke Islands (the traditional homes of the Nughi, Noonuccal and Gorenpul people) and St Helena Island, home to an old penal colony dubbed "Australia's Alcatraz". Take a ferry from the Village and explore!

Or discover the Bayside Parklands on the Moreton foreshore - including play areas, swimming pools and man-made sandy beaches, as well as picnic and BBQ areas, cycling and walking tracks and beautiful wetlands and mangroves.

Boating...

Manly is the ultimate boating playground, offering many adventurous day trips around the Bay. Choose to take either a sailboat or motorboat, stop off to go swimming, snorkeling or canoeing, or relax and fish for a while.
